Awe man, two of you guys stopped by and nobody said 'hi'. I must have smelled bad or something.

Truth be told, we suffered some losses earlier this week (specifically the Southern and a few snapper). We had a power surge over night and it knocked out the main chiller unit. Tank temps spiked, and when I got into work at 6AM it was pretty hot in the big displays. When temps go over mid 90s, the O2 levels crash. We got the issue fixed, and took steps so it won't happen again. It was a freak thing, but it sucked. I was pretty upset about it.

Both big morays are still in there, though. They spent most of today wrapped together behind the lobster trap in the front. Both came out when I fed the tank about 1PM.

I thought there used to be 3..I'm an eel nerd, so that's what I'm looking at while my daughter goes nuts looking at the sharks. I only saw the tesselata and the tail of a greenish colored spotted gymnothorax...but I was pretty certain there was a G. undulatus at some point there too.

The whole display is awesome ...the sharks are amazing, love how far the tank has come since big al's

Ah. There have only been two since I started working this project last Oct. I know they've had other eels in the past when it was the bigger black tip reef and the 6 ft nurse shark. None lasted too long with those two sharks.

I didn't see you when I was there last Saturday. I'm the 13yr old that always spends his money on sharks! I think I talked to you when I bought the coral cat that had those worms, well sadly he died, but I got my blue dot now, so I'm happy. My dad helped me make the tank more roomy for him to swim around, but he has those leeches too! I was thinking of getting a cleaner wrasse to help pick them off, cause I read something that they do that. But, I'am sorry for your loss of the Southern ray, But the little white tip is so awesome and cute!

Feeding video from today. Not a shark feeding, just dumping silver sides in for the fish. The white tip reefs always come over and try to get their fill anytime food hits the surface.
