went out at 5am today, just got back. did 4 for 5 on Flatheads but nothing big, largest was a 29"L with a 16" Girth weighed about 9lbs, the others were smaller so I didn't even bother measuring, weighed 3-7lbs. I took a few of of the largest one, but that's it, ill upload later. Sun was SCORCHING me by 8am, it was ridiculous

Some nice Carp from the other night at the local lake, went 6 for 8. Also a double on tiny 17" and 20" Walleye yesterday morning at Erie while trolling for chrome before waves kicked us off the water. Looking forward to fall Lakers and staging Steelhead and Browns, going to be trolling, casting, and fly fishing the trib mouths as much as I physically can!

Nice, I've always wanted to fish for flatheads
but I'd have to go all the way to walla walla which is crazy far
i'm sure there's a lake or at least a river system near you that has them. wHat state are you in?

Size 10 lol. I don't have a good tape measure man. Mine is a piece of crap that won't stay straight on a fish!
just get a Tailor's measure.....you can find them any place that sells sewing supplies, Wal-Mart, Staples, probably high-end clothing stores too like Today's Man, Nordstrom, Neaman-Marcus, etc

I got a digital scale by Berkley from Wal-Mart for $18 recently too, very accurate, up to 50lbs

A while back the Missouri conservation department gave out rulers to measure fish, it was later learned that the rulers were shrinking and were recalled
