Much appreciated man! Thank you. Wes def. picked me a good one yrs. ago. He’s had the odd 2 tone head colors since i got em at 5”Absolute beauty! Definitely one of the nicest silurus morphs I've seen. I hope he can eventually bring you some of the same vibes one day as your old glanis did
Pretty sure Wes still brings them in every so often. This one was from the 2nd ever US import of the sp…. I got is a “backup” lol… Had both species for about a year. Hard to get the eyes to show true in pics but there red. Predatory and global have brought in the golds for crazy prices.
. I’ll eventually try and get one. I’m still always gonna be partial to the normal color fish though of this Silurus species. I think it’s time we find new Silurus sp. to keep.
Agreed… Wes always treated me well over the yrs. Kinda feel bad i dont order fish like i used to haha. Been outta the game for a while now with low stocks/less tanks. Been many a years since ive got a new cat. May have to take u up on a “grow off”, im partial to albinos/color morphs tho lol… i will say the silurus lithophilus do look amazing in reg. color. Don’t think theyve ever been brought in either. Smaller growing sp. but thats not so bad for me these days… already hit 52” with a glanis in my prime haha…Yeah I’ve talked to him about it. I’d trust him over the others nothing against them but it’s Wes

Many yrs ago in my early days on a quest for goonch cats. Wes told me “patience young grasshopper” haha….1 or 2 would come in a year and sell out in minutes. A good 3-4yrs went by before i was prepared with the space and funds. When i did finally get them they were true highland giants from india and i got 6 at an absurd price lol… good things come to those who wait my man. Enjoy what u have and what may come in the future.Maybe if me and you both beg Wes, he can get us one or the other.
