For paint I think you could youse Tikkurila Supi Saunasuoja its a Sauna paint but if you use it i would cover it with a aquarium epoxy like Pond Armor.Or for a paint you can use Hecht Neoprene Black Rubber Paint

If you use the Hecht Neoprene Black Rubber Paint you wont need to seal it i highly reccomend it ecause it is affordable and is a paint that turns to rubber,

Hey brother, been a while since we chatted just not into it right now we have two units in Iraq and we lost a few this week. DAM BUSH

I've built and help on several wooden, glass, metal tanks and acrylic all over 300 - 500gal. what info do you need. Wooden tanks are best lined with fiberglass its complely water proof and stonger then steel @ 1/8 thick. the glass or acrylic front is the decession you will need to make.
