you could always just put a window in the top 2' of the tank if your having trouble getting really thick glass

somewhere
4 feet high, that might be tough man. Water pressure alone, you'd need more than an inch in terms of thickness of acrylic im guessing. Just make longer instead of higher :)

It is exactaly Volume:3398.02 litres And 898.95 gallons.

and for glass thickness you will need BARE MINIMUM of 16mm (1.97) Thickness for glass But it is Highlt reccomended that you use 20mm (3.08)

For glass try Spectrum Glass they have a store near were you live they carry a glass called Ultra Smooth Thick & Wide Clear which is "Double Thick is nominally 5mm in thickness and provides the perfect base for projects that would otherwise call for 2 layers of normal-thickness clear. Bubble hassles are totally eliminated, cutting time is reduced and project prep time is accelerated. Available in oversize sheets for commercial and architectural installations. This would be your ideal choose for such a large tank such as the 1 you are building.

Your TANK:
Length..................................72.00 in.
Width...................................60.00 in.
Height..................................36.00 in.
Wall-thickness..........................0.30 in.
Volume..................................673.25 gal (US)
Tank Material Weight....................393.01 lbf
Water Volume............................661.32 gal (US)
Water Weight............................5502.94 lbf

There is an online aquarium calculator this is what i got plugging your dimensions in... altho this would be in glass not plywood.

I am going to be doing a tank almost the same size but mine is a foot narrower then yours in glass... I would like to see your tank when your done. What do you plan on keeping in your tank?
