how many neons to say its overstocked ? LOL JOKE

3,000 neons would be over stocked, 2,500 is the general rule for 1";) To many fish, but would be a dam cool sight!

haha i think someone should do that, just make a huge tank and stock it with guppies theyve been breeding for a while, once you get say, 2000 or so in there, take one of your monster fish and throw it in there and watch the chaos begin

I used to use 795 everyday when i was working construction, but never tried it to seal "under" water.. But 21 days sounds way to long.. I'll ask my brother, he still works for the same construction company and still uses 795 daily..

Sick build!!! I know it sounds crazy, especially since i want to see this filled but if the product says 21 days, i would wait 23 days... the time frame is probably based under certain humidity and temperature situations... the conditions in that room could be better than their suggestion or it could be worse... hence me saying to wait 23 days..lol if you haven't got the filters set up yet you can work on all that and lighting in the weeks to come.... if they are then just sit back and play the wait game! A part of me wants to say just fill it but i really don't want to suggest you to fill it but wouldn't want to see another failed build...

I just spoke with my brother and i know you don't wanna hear this, but he said wait the full cure time.. :( He said they haven't had many failures with 795 but he wouldn't chance it with that much water.

I agree, I would wait at least two weeks, if not the full 21 days. Its the same way when sealing a tank, you should really wait at least a couple weeks before filling it up. People tend to be impatient, not that I can blame them :nilly:

Very cool build! Thank you for the step by step walkthrough, it is really awesome. I cant wait to see this guy filled up and running. Will you be adding any other fish besides rays?

Thanks everyone, guess we got a couple more weeks of waiting. Today we moved in the bead filter and a 600 gallon acrylic tank we are using for some smaller rays and pups. Going to be taking all the sand and stuff out of the tank, its just leftover stuff from last time this tank was running. Also got our door up so we can finally seal this room off from the rest of the garage.
