10'x14' 2500 Gallon Plywood Stingray Pond

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Your going to regret gluing down the air stones, they will clog eventually. A DIY stone would be better. Grab air line, take a small needle and poke a bajillion holes into the tubing.

wow this is a sick build. cant waite for the finished project. how about some pics of the rays youhave to go into the pond?

I posted them all in the stingray gallery not long ago. All the ones in the last video are going into this pond, and the 2 tigers are being held with a very patient seller till I get the new pond done. Also the bigger of the 2 marble males in my 6'x6' videos will be moving into this pond.

Yeah its certainly possible they will clog eventually, if they do then I will just disconnect them and throw in new ones or rig up a DIY one like you said. Figured I would give it a try, actually have aeration for once that stays where I want it.

Just finished installing the second window tonight. Did it the same way as the last one, lots of silicone on the frame, clamps on the top and 2x4s pushing the bottom in. Went pretty smoothly. Now we have to wait for the silicone to cure. Going to do all the plumbing and filters while waiting for it to cure.
