Will keep you posted when I get the fiberglass mat in and get that applied. Will be a week or two at the most.

Once that is done I can install the background, fill, then start the cycle on the filtration.
Then install the heating system and the auto filling system.

If things don't fall apart again I should be ready for fish sometime around thanksgiving.

this is truly a monster build and cant wait to see a finished product after sitting down and reading this whole post from begining to end in like the past hour andf a half. i was looking for insperation on building a large tank. i say large tank now because before i called it a huge tank but in comparson to your a 400 to 600 gallon tank seems tiny. lol just a few questions where would i find a good tutorial on building a base and the basic funamentals for taking on a project like this? i'm new to the community and love this site. Also was your reason from staying away from fiberglass a desicion about smell or because of anything else? as a noob at this i congradulate you and hope for the best for your setup and sorry to hear about your fish.

Are the ID sharks the only ones to survive? In a previous post I thought the clown loaches and FRT made it through the night; did you have more casualties?
