so would the Kamihata be worth it?? how much is it?? couple thousands??? Ha, I'm still in high school!Toyins are from Chad.
I will add, to anyone interested in getting a P. Bichir Bichir, since they are no longer classed as a "Rare" Bichir, the prices have come down a great deal, as the availability is easier.
This would mean it is much more worth buying a wild caught from someone like Toyin, rather than a captive bred one.
The Indo PBB are cheap, but you get what you pay for there.
The Kamihata are great looking fish but priced similar to a larger WC one.
No brainer for me!
Is the Kamihata one the one you showed off as the intesely dark and green juvi PBB?? how much?A couple of years back Kamihata quality was amazing.
But as demand stepped up, their quality went down hill and the selective breeding turned into mass farming.
I have heard they are even outsourcing their breeding to 3rd parties in places like Inodonesia now too!
IMO, if you can find an OLD Kamihata breed (will be large now) then yes, 100% worth what you pay for.
The more recent ones, I would not pay half what they go for.
