Wow, now that's some MONSTER pothos!!

Yeah their probably longer now if she hasn't trimmed them yet. I know the that reached in my old 29 had to be atleast 30-40' . It reached from one corner of her dinning room around a wall up a beam and across the living room into the tank and out the window. It might actually be longer then 40' now I think about it.

Mine work really good because I slow down the water a lot. My pump pumps 2200gal an hour I made it where it only pumps 1200 or so now so my pothos have a chance to absorb the nitrate. I could be wrong but it work well for my 355 gal. I use 2 large pothos I largest I can find

Flow might be part of it, but to me losing flow is not an option I am willing to take in my sump. about 4500gph, :nilly:

Not sure, with my baskets and roots at the top I prlly get very little flow, maybe 50-60gph, and the gravel imo helps the roots develop while the water is always in the basket. I think lower gph may be better but not by much. Any room on the top of ur tank behind your overflow?

After school today I went up to home depot and got a pot of pothos.after I cleaned out the dirt and separated the individual plants I counted them and I had 13! ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1349820225.247652.jpg
Then I used the pot that it came with and drilled a bunch of holes in it. Now here it is in the tankImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1349820340.970975.jpg

Very nicely done Tyler! I also thought of using the same pots, but once I saw the hydro baskets I couldn't help myself :p

They also have floating pond planters that are awesome!

Looks great!

I think you just found a very healthy plant that acclimated quickly to the water! I notice about 5-10ppm drop at almost 2 weeks In but now my n03 is still 20-30ppm, 7 days ago it was 10-15ppm, with messy piranhas I'm elated at the new additions. Plus the gf likes the look of them!

"BUT BABE I NEED THE FISH TO FEED THE PLANTS!"
