Does pothos plant work well with salt in the tank?

Sent from my iPad using MonsterAquariaNetwork app
That is a great question, not sure if the roots can adjust to the salinity....I have yet to see pothos on a sw setup.

Ahh...finally got some. Give me a few days...or weeks and I will post my setup. I'm in the process of clearing the garage for my 280. Question: If I cut the long ones about a foot and stick it in water, will it grow on its own?

I can't find the baskets anywhere. Been to 3 different home depots, garden stores, nurseries, every possible store, nothing.

You mean cut the stocks and re plant them in the sub? They will eventually grow out of the water but its better if its already long enough to reach the top, that way the top of the plant is dry and growing.

Nice large potho!

Their made for ponds, which are seasonal atm. And they have smaller cheaper ones, this is a LG 10".

You can also use a hob, overflow, 3d backround or a shower caddy, or even just stick the roots in water!

Thanks, what I meant was cut the stocks and stick about 4" of it in water or maybe replant it in a small pot with pea pebbles like what you did and leave it to grow?

I didn't see that before, will check it out. Done it with roots just in the water before. I want bamboo or something that grows vertical.

Yes that works great!

You have to consider purpose of plant, decor, filtration or both, that's why I like pothos. But I've seen some rad bambo for sure!
