  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yes that's it! A relatively young and small plant, give it a couple months in your tank, it will quadruple! The vines with eventually start branching out!

Quick questions. My tanks are in the garage. I am going to buy a small clip-on type of light fixture. How much wattage of a bulb do I need? How many hours during the day does this light need to be on? And how far away should the bulb be from the leaves of the plant?

I have done this for years and years, with Photos, and it works. Even just putting them on the water. They do not need substrate.

Ambient sunlight will grow it fine, but I purchased a utility lamp in the auto section of Walmart for 6$ and a cheap 8watt cfl. Seems to help a little better. If you want plug a strip into your timer and plug your tank and pothos light into that, anywhere from 4-12 hours works.

I agree! Simplicity is what makes it great and easy!

I have not seen that large of a change yet with mine. I am hopeful I will. My plants have been in my tank for about 4 weeks now. Maybe a little more time and they will be going like crazy.

Thx. A very economical solution to overstocked or underfiltered tanks! Or just a nice addition to any aquarium!
