No I mean a pot full, you bought 1, I'm saying for a 220 you'll need Atleast 1 whole pot to see 5-15ppm reduction! What's your normal ppm of nitrate in that tank, and at what level do you do a wc?

To be honest i really dont do wcs all that much... I siphon out the poo and sawdust from the royal every couple of days but and that takes about 30 gallons... And thats bout it... Basically anywhere from 60 to 120 gallons but throughout the week...

Well essentially if you do wc once a week and they spike @ 40ppm one pot will bring that down to 25-35ppm but with 2 pots you will see levels between 10-30ppm, just get one more pot inside that 220 and after a few weeks you can cut your wc in half, but still test, nitrates exceeding 60+ can be harmful!

As for a test kit, api fw master test kit is great, very cheap on amazon! This will give you a way better idea on your params!

Ya i been meaning to get one i have those strip tests... I know they arent exactly accurate but even with that its either the firat or second lil square thing... And im currently searching for foods for my monsters right now and i was gonna get the api at the same time to get free shipping. Not gonna derail ir thread tho so if u have anything to say about foods for an aro and a clown knife i have another thread goin on it.... Shopping for food or somethin close to that

If they adjust quickly you may see results but normally around 2-4 weeks! Glad you got that test kit, you will love it and your fish will be much better off!
