Ya, i'd say female from the pic's, I don't want to side track the convo and take focus off the great pic's though, if interested check this thread out for sexing ...Its a female? I had it sexed as a male . But yeah its only him/her in the tank.
As for the ornatipinnis, they dont come by very often here as well. They are on the more uncommon side. I tried placing 2 ornates together but one of them got trashed. But its recovered and doing extremely well now, both of them.
glad i could help then! and no waste at all shes a great looking female!. Males have great color on the fins but females are larger, still have great color and are much more outgoing. My female is always front and center meeting you at the glass. My male , as colorful as he is, spends 90% of his time under a log out of site.Thanks DC for the conformation and compliments! Mine is definitely a female than. Just by looking at her colours. No sidetracing, im glad to have her sexed. At least now i know! But what a waste, the blue on those males are something else!
