Either roots aren't fully submerged or its just acclimating and shedding off some weight (totally normal) try giving it extra light. Like a cheap 13 Watt 5000-6500K CFL bulb with a utility dome light fixture from Walmart or your hardware store for 7-10$ total. The dome fixtures are clamp on too and if you want to get fancy hook it you to a timer, perhaps your aquarium light timer!H]-[H;6766865 said:Hey guys, so two weeks ago I added two bigger and longer cuttings in the tank..
Both have started sprouting little roots but almost half the leaves have turned yellow and dropped off..
What is happening?
Whenever I see 40-50% black, dried or yellow leaves I pull them off to stimulate energy for the rest of the plant!
Obviously make sure your tank is cycled and producing enough waste to feed the plants! Cuttings should need little.
