I paid for overnight shipping, and the fish shipped from Texas Thursday morning. They were still in Texas Friday night. They finally arrive on Saturday.
Here is what the box containing twelve juvenile Thorichthys mixteco blues looked like:
You can see on this shot of the bottom, it looks like it was deliberately smashed.
And you can see how much water has leaked.
Miraculously, not all of the fish are dead. Two were dead out of the box.
Another looks almost dead. The rest seem like they might be ok, but there are another two that are iffy. I think at least seven are healthy.
Here is a very poor shot of them in the tank, you can see one laying on its side at the top of the image. I hope it pulls through, but it's not looking good.
