I didn't expect this from Lince. Interesting antagonism. So our friend was right - those were not bubbles but scales Lince was popping off of the VATF in the video.

Yea, gars are generalistic biters, probably across all 7 species but alligators especially. They will bite anything that lets them and doesn't hit them back or first. My 2'-3'-ers would bite any timid tankmate, no matter the size, like 2' IDS, Doradidae, etc. Not all the time but once in awhile cutting the skin deep.

I like the Suriname 'look' better than the Peru look for the Piraibas... the suriname ones look more 'shark like' Now if I could only get my hands on one of those albino pimas! .... hahaha missed my chance by one day
