Alright, must just be me then. But the offer still stands to send the ansorgii my way 'just to be sure'!
I think the fish have two distinct styles of markings. However, perhaps yours in camouflaging in more with the sandy substrate versus the contrasting red.

Maybe feb. ill be getting a koloton and faranah lap if available.
Some nice choices. Looking forward to pics.

Off polys for a sec. You still liking the slver dollars in the tank? I had mine for many years and were among the first fish I started back in the hobby with. I just got tired of getting hosed every time I fed them. They were very aggressive feeders!

Yes i do really like the SD's, they swim all over the tank and makes the tank lively, i feed them floating pellets and they dont bother the polys during feeding night whcih is awesome. Im really happy that i got them, and once they get big i might rehome 4 and keep 8 of them:)

I had 7 large red hooks in the 210g and it was cool to see them school around. One of the red hooks had the red spots on the sides and the other six were just regular. Always wanted to try the black bars you have but not common in my area and really expensive!
I got mine special order by my lfs, it was $30 each its about 3"-4" and the red hook was $20 each almost same size as the wide bar judt alittle thinner, i was happy i got them, Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683 been suggesting me to get SD as dithers but everytime i look around i see the common 1" SD and thinking they will just become dinner, till Vancouver told me they have different species that i can get it bigger size, so i try to order and was happy on the size they came in. But i had 2 common one i got for free to from CL.:) Im glad to listen to Vancouver's advices.:)

One of my local fish stores will get in black bars and they are $50 for ones about the size of a quarter. My red hooks were about $20 each but they were pretty good sized around 4" or so. Miss them at times but dont miss all the wet clothes, lol

Thats why i put the food in the corner and not in the middle so the food will endup againts the glass and the SD's cant go up to fast and no water splash. I was thinking of getting a pearsei but i wanted two, and you guys said having two bioload will be crazy:)
