Broke out the dehydrator that's been sitting around unused for the last few years and tried my hand at beef jerky.....at the request of my son. First batch was teriyaki. 5 pounds of it! Only cost me about $20. Second batch, which is pictured below, is fajita seasoning. A bit over done but taste good, so its still a learning process.
Very cool! I brought back around 5lbs or ground deer meet, any recommendations on what to try? I've already done plenty of burgers looking for something different
With ground up deer? The only way I know is to basically hang it on an upper rack and let it drip the juices out for a few hours.
