We stopped to pick up a couple of T-bones on the way home from the Dr's office. Our butcher asked how our day went and I told her the appt went well but, I was starvin' like Marvin because I couldn't eat anything since midnight prior to my appt. It was already dinner time when we stopped. She told us to put the package that we selected back in the bin. She went in the back of the meat dept and came back out with a couple of choice 1" thick steaks for us. We had to serve up the sides in separate bowls due to the size of the steaks she cut for us.
Enjoyed a little italian fare tonight. We made up a batch of gnocchi in marinara sauce with grated swiss cheese and parmesan. Good eats on a chilly evening.
