DIY Algae scrubber

It gets removed once a week, typically alternating sides on a 2 sided screen.

I have a experiential "Drip Thru" and "fluidized ping pong ball" That will be self cleaning, if possible.

The drip thru, has been feeding some african cichlid fry .Automatically.

So once a week, one side gets scraped clean? And grows back in a week? Drip thru sounds great for fry! :) Thanks!

No prob...now make one so when mine doesnt work i can copy yours lol

Thats cool thx man im gonna join it

Lol, I haven't seen one of these until today, I am on the fence, I really would like to see how effective they are :)

Lots of good info, on both. Mostly done with saltwater. Lol. I am still waiting for monster Copods, to become a problem. On my fresh water tanks.
I do have some turf growing.

Check this out. Joey said he used this on his saltwater aquarium but also mentions he plans on one for his freshwater 375. He claims it took his nitrates down to zero once it was established.
