Fk .. I think I'm going to have to get a second tank ... really want to keep true parrot cichlids now .. but they prob need amazon type water

They're pretty hardy. I wouldn't worry about it.

The real ones? Not the hybrids? Although I might stick a parrot cichlid in too

Check my math... 5 gal bucket took 6:09 to fill = 48 gph ?

Have a slow leak in the 2nd tower. Gonna glob on some silicone tomorrow and retest in a couple of days

I believe 48-49 gph is correct.

60min × 5gl = 300 gallons

6 min 9 sec = 6.15 minutes

300gl ÷ 6.15min = 48.78 GPH
49.26gph

60 / 6.09

1.98 x 5

Thx guys that was with the 120gph pump. 40 and 50 gph werent strong enough. I'd ki d of like it in the 30gph area. Gonna see if i could get it primed with the larger pump then switch to one of the smaller ones afterwards
