ARGH clm08k clm08k I just want your fish struggles to be effing OVER AND DONE WITH!!! :(

kno4te kno4te - what do you suggest with the WC schedule? You don't want to water down the salt/meds but you also don't want stressed fish in ammonia.... Should she still do 50% daily WCs?

Would advise a quick water change. Suck out as much worms as able. Then redose the salt and add the medication. The dosing will depend on the medication. It'll need to be left for 2-3 days depending on med. Can do a wc then and if needed can repeat the dosage. First gotta see what clm08k clm08k can do.

Camallanus Worms look like bloodworm. They'll usually protrude out in multiples of your fishes anus. Check your parrots and small fishes. Most likely came from your parrots from Wal-Mart.

Thanks everyone did a 50%WC. Added more salt andanother dose of Paraguard. Delhezi has ick now.

Got out some worms. But it appears there are quite a bit. Never seen them before until today. Perhaps the Paraguard yesterday expelled them from a poly?
Here's a vid. They do kinda look like bloodworms

Vancouver_98683 Vancouver_98683 . Parrots were not in this tank. Just the QT and heater were the same. No substrate or filter. Also the parrots were from Segrest. Lol. Just the wet spot polys and everything else was new. Unless if these worms were in my water? I did buy a Marino ball. put one jn each tank. Could they have come in on that?

Keep up with what kni4te suggested for the ich for a few weeks as the cysts have a life cycle.

Probably camallanus worms. Probably in the fish as well. Will need to cont salt and heat. But need to get some flubendazole or levamisole.

After round of that with heat and salt for the ich then you should be good. Sorry clm08k clm08k things will get better soon.
Thanks, kno4te kno4te for the kind words. Could these worms have come in on the marimo balls I put in the tanks? If so I'm f--ked, because I put one in all my 3 tanks(QT, 55G, and beta). I hate seeing those f--kers wriggling around in my tank. Sorry for the language.

Could you please send me an amazon link for one of these products. flubendazole or lavamisole.....I'm not seeing anything on amazon. Paragaurd and prazipro keep showing up for both whenever I type in the names? Or it not on amazon, where I can buy them?

Okay. Tried to get out as many worms as could. and did a 50% WC. added paraguard and salt. Bumped the heater up. It's currently at 83. and going to keep cranking it up.

Just to clarify: So it is okay to leave the tank for 2-3 days(no WC) after I dose with one of the two meds you suggested? Or is this with paraguard? I'm treating this at the same time as ick, correct?

thanks Mags, me too. I'm feel really guilty for putting my polys through this and cried about it earlier.. It really breaks my heart that they have worms in there and the ich spots.....especially that cute little moke. She's turning so green too and doesn't deserve this. I feel like a bad fish mom. Really hope everything works out this time or else I'll be devastated.. Thank you for the kind words.

Wtf happened worms and ich now ?
I have no idea :( With the ich. I think it was because of the ammonia was going up to 0.25 every 24 hours. QT wasn't cycled. I was excited cause I thought I was doing everything right: QT, WC, testing the water every day.......

With the worms. I have no f---ing idea :(. Haven't seen them before until today. And I've been dilligent monitering parameters and doing water changes. Dosed with paraguard yesterday. Not sure if that cuased them to come out of the fish or what. I did buy a marimo moss ball that I put in the tanks about 7-10 days ago. That's the only thing I can think of. If the moss balls then I'm screwed cause I put one in each of my tanks. I hate seeing them wriggling around. Makes me sick. Just want to get rid of them and get the polys happy. Shoot I mean I wont' buy any new fish after this if these make it.

did rehome the parrots. Really hoping the polys make it. Especially the moke. She's my girl.
