Hello; Robert E. Lee would have stayed in the union had Virginia stayed in the union. He was a Virginian and would not take up arms against his home state. It has always been my understanding States rights was the more important issue during the Civil War.
Hello; This seems correct. It is my understanding that only around 5% of southerners were slave holders. For that matter it might be of interest to look up how Wall Street in NYC got it's name.

Hello; Yes. My take is the local authorities have already decided to remove the statue so the one side had already won. The group who do not like the removal of the statue had lost and were only going to get to vent.

Hello; Yes this is a mystery to me as well. Yes the helicopter was doing overwatch at the rally, but the crash itself has nothing to do with that rally other than the timing as far as I know.
I guess the press figures they will get more mileage for their bias if they report three dead.

The other member posted the kkk meme but what what he and im sure all of the talkings are failing to state is the anti robert e lee or blm or what ever they are called HAD to show up wanting a fight, wanting to silence the Pro robert e lee, nazis and kkk group and any non group afflicted protester which is completely wrong since THE STATUE WAS BEING TAKEN DOWN WHAT WAS THE POINT OF SHOWONG UP...TO START A FIGHT. Regardless of how idiotic the supremacists are they also have a legal right to protest.
