Picked up the start of my polys for my 470.

Here is one I took the other day of the ornate peeking from his log hiding spot. Also, the Sen. I just had to buy. SUPER tiny and he didn't get to go with the other small bichirs because he was too small. Living with the discus and picking up free bloodworms.
The Delhezi was hidden under the wood so I couldn't get a photo if him. Which is the gold dust and which is the Retro?
Yup, the retro is "checkered" and the gold dust striped. That's how I tell them apart at least. Also, gold dust moves around more.
Yeah, he swims all over the tank, especially later in the day. The retro moves maybe 4" in a day.

retro might be in the too cute to move stage? kidding heh. They both look phenomenal. I had no idea how to tell the difference between the retro and the gold dust. I like the checked analogy.
I don't know if the analogy works, but it is how I tell the difference between my 2 species that are similar.
I remember when I got my gold dust and teug they looked so similar I had to go back to the in bag pics(with labels) to tell them apart now it's hard for me to believe it wasn't as obvious as it is for me now
