Picked up the start of my polys for my 470.

Cool - a huge tank with UJs! Very nice. I do recommend a Polli (you're right, no longer officially "Palmas Polli") because they tend to be really active for a poly.

Where have I read that beefheart shouldn't be used much/at all, and definitely not as a staple? That you should stick with a fish diet for polys? Anyone...?

Beefheart is not recommended. Definitely not a staple food. Too fatty.

Just about anywhere now. It used to be used for most carnivorous fish or feeders. Both have been decided not good for your fish.

Here are a couple photos of the Retro. Wish he would get some size quicker so he can go into the big tank and get him on black sand. Patience though, he'd be a pricey feeder.

I know it says "The Start" in the title. Well here is the "final".

1 - Delhezi 3-4"
1 - Ornate 3-4"
1 - Gold Dust 3-4"
1 - Moke 8-9"

The smaller ones are hanging out with the Retro, and the Moke went straight in with the big boys. Excited to have my stock done and watch these fish GROW!

The retro is about 6" maybe? Still skinny as a rail though sadly. He'll probably be the last to make it to the 475.
