Almost any Tanganiyakan cichlid will work (except the really big ones like emperors and fronts), and as far as I know, they are all predatory (except for Tropheus).

I have a tank of the same size, and I've struggled finding good big fish to keep that aren't too big or too small. Here's a list - these may be slightly inaccurate and anyone is welcome to correct me:
Pike Characins - 7-11 inches
Snydontis Sp. Catfish - 10-12 inches
Medium to Large Gouramis - 6-10 inches
Bala Shark - 12-14 inches (You may need to move them out at adult size)
Jack Dempsey Cichlids - 12 inches
Chocolate Cichlids - 9 inches?
Severum - 11 inches
Discus - 10 inches
Angel Fish - 10 inches
African Butterfly Fish - 5 inches
Yellowtail Freshwater Barracuda - 9-10 inches?
Some species of Polypterus - 11-14 inches
Archerfish (Brackish) - 6-7 inches
Other small Cichlids - 7-13 inches
African Brown Knifefish - 10 inches
Ghost Knifefish - 11 inches
Ropefish - 3 feet, lazy, can breathe air
Plecos (Some get MASSIVE though) - 8-14 inches, small species only
Silver Dollars - 5-12 inches
Freshwater Moray (brackish) - 16 inches
Small Puffer Species (Must be kept alone) - 13 inches
Other small Cafish species - 9-13 inches
Geophagus Sp. - 8-12 inches

Feel free to add to or correct the list!
Which species of pike cichlids stay small enough for 75?

probably the smaller-midsize varieties. someone suggested sveni earlier i think they are a good midsize pike.

Gourami Swami Gourami Swami had or has a pair of adult pikes in a 90 i believe perhaps he would like to weigh in on this.

I have a pair of sp. Venezuela in a 90g. I wouldn't recommend this species or any of the larger ones (johanna, atabapo, etc.) for a 75 tbh. I will be re-homing mine soon.

For a 75g I think "belly crawler" would be a good species. They get to about 6" or so. Could do a pair with some other fish that are too large to eat.

What About a Catfish what would be good?
not a lot of "predatory" catfish this size. cats are more opportunistic feeders and scavengers. that being said a larger catfish will eat up feeders.

one possibility would be gulper catfish. quite honestly they gross me out but they are definitely predatory in every sense of the word.

they look more like Balloons than Catfish. And i'm searching and the only one i could find was Chaca Chaca but they are Ambusher so they arent very active at all.

right. you could probably do a green terror+ornate pim. pimelodus ornatus or pimelodus blochii are both fairly active south american cats that can hold their own with cichlids and grow about the max youd want a fish in a 75. the sveni pike would be a good tankmate too.
