Here is my freshly planted 100 gallon, I've kept plants in the past with co2 but wanted to go more low tech and hopefully less hassle set up, its dominated by swords and some vals and subulatta mixed in

It's basically a black tarp with the grass stitched on, it will not leech into the water as there is no adhesives. I've used it before for years no issues, maintenance is just to brush it down, some plants will climb the wall and anchor too it.

Also since it's fake grass and dogs are known to eat grass it is NON TOXIC it said so on the label specifically about being non toxic to animals in case of accidental ingestion.
