I am doing a video care guide on Jack Dempsey cichlids tonight! If anyone has a video or some photos of their jack dempseys that they would like to share and I will be happy to put them in my video please post them below. I will give you full credit.

Mine has been very slow growing, likely due to him being a petsmart runt and poor care on my part in his first year.
A note, they are very skittish early on, but after about 4 inches get very bold. Mine went from barely eating to being the first to attack food. Not the smartest/most interactive cichlid, but they make up for it with bright colors, a big attitude, and a manageable size.

Who’s the big red one in the back of that last pic? The female or an offspring?
There are a few platinum female's in there if you look closely. I see four, not sure if they are breeder female's or offspring or both. YankeeJack YankeeJack would know for sure.
