What the...????I am currently four seasons into "Yellowstone". I've been binge watching it, up to three episodes at a time! I can say quite comfortably that jjohnwm recommendation to watch it is probably the best advice he has ever given out on the forum thus far, lol.
This show is brilliant, and very easily slots into the top five of my all time favourite shows, and that takes some doing because I've seen a lot!!
And Beth Dutton is currently tied in first place for the accolade of my favourite all time box set character, along with Walter White from "Breaking Bad".
I bow to thee John, lol.
I distill all these pearls of wisdom and then laboriously peck them out with my clumsy sausage-like fingers on the keyboard of a rickety 6-year-old laptop, trying to assist my fellow aquarists with their chosen avocation...not to mention my desire to improve the human condition as a whole...and you consider the single most useful thing I've come up with to be a recommendation for a TV show???
As my grandfather would have said: I am thinking I have the insult!
But...yeah, it is a pretty terrific show, isn't it?
Now, if you like that one, then there's another you may enjoy: "Vikings"
I think there's about 7 seasons of this; it started out as a fairly low-budget affair, but it always had wonderful production values, including great writing, plot, acting and especially music. As it progressed it became very popular and successful, and of course its budget increased. It spans several decades; it starts out focused on one particular character, and by the end of the series his son, a child who was perhaps 10 in the first episodes is an adult in his prime. Lots of interconnected storylines and intriguing characters; much backstabbing and treachery...it's like one of my family reunions, but with battleaxes. Maybe not on a par with Yellowstone, but still some terrific TV.
