I agree...but it would be an even better sentiment with the phrase "against a woman" removed. Some people simply should not drink. They know who they are. If they drink and then harm a woman or anyone else they should get their just desserts.
Yes, agreed. Grew up around a few like that,4th or 5th drink in, and looking for their next target/victim. But in this case, he clearly had the advantage in every aspect. Size, strength, reach, weight, and experience in the fight game, even if he never made it as a pro fighter. To smack not only a woman, but his wife of many years. Unreal. I don’t care if she smacked him first or not.

Still a man has to keep control and not beat up a smaller female too bad. The video in question about D White was a good example. The wife put a good lick on his face which left a mark. He open hand slapped her back once and stopped.
A good example? Are you kidding? Because he didn't return the favor with a closed fist, and cold clock her?

He smacked her, then wound up and went in for another smack to her head as she was reeling backwards. He didn't connect on the second swing, or at least not as much as with the first, but he certainly made the attempt. He was going for another shot to the head, and only then did her arm come back up in defense. Pathetic.

I know nothing about this incident, or even who this guy is, but...wow...

This might be a case where these two are a perfect match, and by being together they prevent two other people from being stuck with either one of them.

Are YOU kidding? Why shouldn't she be held accountable for her actions? Because she is a woman? That's all you got? That's pathetic in this day and age.

Hello; Guess you never have been in karate or other self-defense classes. Been some women who can fight the same as any man. Knew a couple who could have kicked my behind had I given them reason. How hard a man fights back against a woman largely depends on the circumstance.
Fortunately, i have not been in a situation of having to get into a real fight with a woman. If slapped by a woman when i stepped out of line, I might just take it and move on. If slapped, punched, kicked when do not start a problem nor deserve it I see no problem defending myself. Women can be aggressive, mean and just as dangerous as a man.

A slap can simply be a symbolic thing, with no real intent to do anything other than act as a rebuke and cause some embarrassment. Or, it can have some effort behind it, with the intention of causing physical discomfort. It's difficult to tell which category this guy's wife falls into from watching that video.

But I interpret that video clip as demonstrating one of those two types. What she did could not realistically be thought of as starting a physical fight, and was by no means anything that would merit a man..."professional" fighter or not...actually retaliating...let alone going in for a second shot at her.

One must wonder how that little exchange would have escalated if it had occurred out in the parking lot, with no cameras around and nobody to step in and separate them.

I'd say alcohol is the major trigger in most cases though. Like you said, it turns ********s into even bigger ********s.
The term "trigger" is very appropriate for this. And a trigger is only dangerous when it is attached to a gun that is loaded and cocked. The trigger simply lets someone unleash that dangerous potential; without the actions of a person, the gun itself is harmless.

Things get bad quickly if the trigger...whether a metal lever on a gun, or a bottle of booze...is activated by the wrong person.

That would be incorrect, and has nothing to do with anything. Spent a fair bit of time in dojos, as well as street fights. Known some pretty rugged females over the years as well. Keep watching that video and pretending that what Dana White was somehow justified. WoW.

Hello; I get why you target me. Such is part of the ongoing grudge you have. Don't think I used the word justified but throwing in unneeded or inflammatory terms is also part of your regular/traditional approach.
I do not pretend anything. She slapped him hard. Slapped her back once. He later admitted it was not excusable and did not try to excuse or rationalize it. Woman slaps me for no good reason she is likely to get the same back. You do not have to like it. If I do something to deserve a slap I will take it and let it go.

Boo hoo. I replied to your comment as it was clear that he swung at his wife, not once, but twice. And what he did was anything but, a good example, of self control. Spin it any way you like, she didn’t hit him with a palm strike to the temple. It was an open handed slap for crying out loud. If a women slapped me with an open hand I probably had it coming, if not I would walk away. Not strike back.
