...As long as you leave your brain at home it's great.
No problem! I almost always leave mine at home; haven't actually used it or even found it for quite some time now...:)

Of course, I'm married, so I don't really need it. My wife apparently knows everything...

Don’t know if anyone has talked about it yet, but i’m pumped for the second Dune movie. The first movie was just so good. Music, visuals and acting was all top notch.
I actually watched the first Dune movie (the re-make, that is...) last night. Good looking flick. I didn't know they were doing a follow-up, but it's good to hear as there was certainly no satisfying ending.

I quite enjoyed the original book, but each succeeding Dune book deteriorated so badly and so rapidly that I quickly gave up on them; I think I gave up somewhere between "Postal Workers of Dune" and "Short-order Cooks of Dune". :shakehead Hopefully the movie sequel will retain the quality of the first one.

Oh, you've got yourself one of those too have you? Lol. What I find particularly amusing regarding my wifes plethora of all things worldly, is that when young Esox needs a lift with his homework, she suddenly does this amazing disappearing act, lol.

Yeah, it's reminiscent of the For Sale ad stuck up on the bulletin board of the local general store:

"Want to sell: Complete set of Encyclopedia Brittanica in mint condition. Un-used and un-needed; ****ing wife knows everything!"

I laughed out loud when I saw it; the proprietress of the store noted my mirth, scurried over, and quickly tore the amusing ad down, cursing the neighbourhood wag who had posted it. He's known for his mischievous ways; a sort of Robin Hood for married men...

I can tell by the look I got that she will undoubtedly snitch on me (for laughing) when she sees my wife. Oh, well...that's okay; nothing improves the quality of life quite so much as risking it once in a while...:)

Are they any good these Dune movies? I can get them both, the 2021 and the 2023 films, but these futuristic type space movies aren't usually my cup of tea.

Although I watched a few Star Wars movies for some reason couldn't stay interested in neither of the 2 Dune movies.

I know what you mean Tom. Mind you, if there's any giant kraken in the Dune movies I think that could swing it for me, lol.

I was disappointed about the Transformers Rise Of the Beast 😆
For some strange reason I actually like the transformers movies. I'm a sucker for good CGI movies.

I remember as a kid watching the original King Kong which was made in 1933!! I was totally spellbound, and scared s**tless at the same time, lol.

My young naive mind marvelled at the special effects....but of course, in time, I learned to realise that it was all grainy animated time lapse production using plasticine, lol.
