Yes, she wanted to play with my cassette tapes I had out and I said no (because I could forsee the impending mess of unravelled audio tape). So she reacted with an impulse of her own and smacked me hard with a cassette tape in its box and the sharp corner caught me across my right eye. I keep my gloves up these days!

Changed the substrate from river rock/sand. Removed 90% of old stuff and put in 20kg of aragonite sand.
PH sits at about 7.6 so hoping that this might raise it up a bit but it hasn’t done anything.

All is going well anyway.

Trying to measure him. Was a pain as he would keep flicking his tail. Just shy of 10” I think.
Growing along nicely whilst not feeding too much too often.
Not getting the new tank for at least a few months still so don’t want to power feed him or anything.

No his eye is still the same.
I don’t think the scar will ever go away. You can see it in the bottom picture if you zoom in.

I love the blue line on the jacks!
