I was worried the leopard danios were egg bound and the eggs would rot inside them as they never seemed to ever get slimmer.
I never saw a hint of fry in the hillstream rack and feared they may not be laying at all. I didn't want them to suffer with this so decided to throw them in an empty "blackish"water tank. The hope was they drop eggs and free up. if they didn't I would have done treatments to help.
Kept 1 male and a female.
2 days later exchanged to female for 2 new females.
3 days later about 200 fry swimming around. Been feeding tropical Mikro-Vit. Seems to be working. Number down a bit but I was never actually looking to raise fry as I am going away for 5 weeks. guy looking after fishroom has a job now.

As it isn't even leaking. I am assuming it is being held together by prayer and hope but tight enough to avoid disaster.

I'm not sure if that will remain the case once I start emptying and pressure is released. If it does not fall apart, I have a plan I hope is simple enough to work.

On the crack alone, I am going to put a layer of silicone to seal it. I may lay down strips of glass to cover as much of the crack as I can.
So the fix should take 3 or so days.
I have plans for the tank soon that will make what the base glass looks like irrelevant.

And some more fish pics just because I took them.
All these unwanted guppies going to another teacher I helped set up a class tank for

Finally trying shrimp again. Had a hard time with them a few years ago. So I left them alone. Decided to give it one more go.

I LOVE red tailed sharks. Unfortunately, they love nobody. I have tried them in numerous setups now with the same results. They are asshats that can't play nice. I am looking to get rid of them. They seem to Purposefully target certain fish and go after them like a terrier are rats.

And if you ever going away for an extended time. I found it really helpful writing instructions on each tank. Each tank I own also has a code I use for a some things. I write it on the tank so the person looking after it can clearly tell the tank that has an issue. Better that saying the small tank in the middle onbthe tall rack with the shrimp. Then asking to clarify which of the 3 tanks. Guy simply says tank RCT3. Rack C, Tank 3. Done.
