I was worried the leopard danios were egg bound and the eggs would rot inside them as they never seemed to ever get slimmer.
I never saw a hint of fry in the hillstream rack and feared they may not be laying at all. I didn't want them to suffer with this so decided to throw them in an empty "blackish"water tank. The hope was they drop eggs and free up. if they didn't I would have done treatments to help.
Kept 1 male and a female.
2 days later exchanged to female for 2 new females.
3 days later about 200 fry swimming around. Been feeding tropical Mikro-Vit. Seems to be working. Number down a bit but I was never actually looking to raise fry as I am going away for 5 weeks. guy looking after fishroom has a job now.
