How’s the weather?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
NC is oddly warm at the moment; still above freezing (nighttime temps are 3-10C), and temps are supposed to go past 22C sometime early next week. Fishing's not bad at all, during the evenings. Not that there's many decent fishing spots just north of Charlotte, though.
I still see snakes, occasionally, which is nice.

Maximum 26c today, for Western Australia that is winter temperatures at the start of summer, so good.

I keep forgetting you Aussies have flipped seasons.
Can't believe you'd consider 26C "winter temperatures", though I guess Abominus Abominus has it worse, in that furnace of a country he calls home, lol.

We usually are in the high 30c, usually it’s 36-40c every day. I’ve even been using a blanket to sleep lol.

Here in Davao City Philippines much the same daytime temps low 30's, nighttime mid 20's.

Northern Philippines is another story. Super Typhoon is about to come ashore. This season has been bad, seems like a new one every week.

;Looks like climate change has started to mess things up. Instead of heat is more rain and storms.
Northern Philippines would agree, this Super Typhoon is storm number seven or eight that has run across them in the last two months.

Although we have gone from long unbearable summers and short winters to long wet winters and short hot summers except now there’s no rain in spring which is weird. So many old trees died last year due to 9 months of no rain then 2 years worth of rain between June and October. It’s all out of wak.

How does everything keep going with so much bad weather?
In an average year the Philippines sees 20 named typhoons. Not all come ashore. And the ones that do not all land in habituated areas. This year has been rough though, with six hitting land in the last four weeks. This recent one though is a signal 4 Super typhoon. In American speek a Cat 4 hurricane.
