How’s the weather?

That's an Oarfish.

It's also referred to by the Japanese as the Doomsday Fish, and finding one beached is supposedly a precursor of some huge upcoming disaster, typically an earthquake. A disquieting thing to find on a California beach...shrouded in mystery and legend, spoken of in hushed whispers, a mythical entity often believe not to exist.

It's a lot like the Shadow's pond. :)

Well if that's a precursor to an imminent earthquake then that gives him another excuse not to start his pond!

Surely he must be running out of excuses now. I reckon 2025 is going to be the year that young surfer dude finally gets his arse into gear and follows through on his promise. Isn't that right The Masked Shadow The Masked Shadow .

He's hoping we will forget about it...it keeps dropping off the radar until some a-hole brings it up again and revitalizes the discussion.:swear::devil:

Personally, I think he should hire a bot to dig it ...:)

We're still basking in zeroC and zero snow. :(

If I were foolish enough to believe the forecast...I'd say that is supposed to end tomorrow, but...you know...

Meanwhile, here in KSA, it's a pleasant 29°C— perfect for us locals But all this brown desert really makes me want to see some white snow.

@RD and jjohnwm jjohnwm , do share a few pics of the snow! I'd love to get a glimpse of that frosty magic.

We had some rain overnight which caused the trees to drop a whole bunch more leaves all over everything......and now my lawn and driveway looks like I never touched it.
