i have a fish budget each year which i put into a different bank account which i have not been using for the last few years

when i buy of sell fish it goes into the fish bank account which is near empty now

this is the only tank i have set up in the last 5 years

That is a good idea, I don't think i have the patients or will power to be able to manage that! Maybe one day, big catfish just grow so damned quick though

I do the same with the Budgeting. If i sell a Fish thats to large or that id like to start another tank like i just did (i sold 200 bucks in fish), ill use the money to purchase the next fish like the Arowana that i want.

Yeah the budget thing is a good idea, I have an account I put all my overtime in to go towards fish, makes me feel a bit better about working on a day off!

still, u must be aching to get the fish in the new home.

How long will you have cycle the new tank/sump for?
will you just dump all the old mature eheim media in the new sump, or just transfer the fish, water and external filters you have from one tank to another?

Or will fish go to temporary housing?
