bit slow this weekend but we managed to get the electrics and most of the base done we can only do 3 layers of blocks at a time as they weigh a lot and make the cement sink

just a thought ... don't you think it's going to be dark in there ? I see only 2 little windows ? ( I mean, surely you will have some lights, but if this was mine =) I would put as many windows as possible - maybe some in the roof ? so that I would get as much of daylight as possible in

the tank is meant to be built on wens so have had to get moving today if we want the concrete set in time

we put all the top brace bars in today and will do the uprights and ply the sump area

Where did you get the rsj's from again? Thinking of making the lid of my 1000gal strong enough to support more tanks and they look like an option to do the job nicely. Good to see progress and looking forward to seeing the tank sat on there.

you can buy the mini RSJs from any electrical wholesalers its called unistrut

that stuff is super strong the guys at work put multi 50mm armoured cables on it as its used to fix cable tray and basket work

i will have a double centre piler from the same stuff that will be removable to get the sump in and out
