i definitely wouldnt use treated wood because there are some very harsh chemicals in it that would kill your fishies. most of it isn't even rated for indoor use. unless you have a non toxic treated wood i would seal it with something. very nice! im jealous!

Thanks everyone. We have some LED bars that will be mounted under the wood beams.

We now have 5 rays in there, moved all the males out of the old pond to give the females a break. Also got our sand in there, which the rays promptly moved where ever they wanted it.

Here are a video of the pond with the sand in it.

Also posted some vids of the rays in there in the stingray media lounge: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=4974998#post4974998

Awesome build,

Is that a Devil and an Oscar in there together?
Yeah, thats a Midas Cichlid and an Oscar. They are best friends and its rare to see them apart. The midas is an old fish, prob 7 or 8 years old. He is pretty mellow for a Midas. I think the issue people have with Midas Cichlids is when they are kept in 75 gallon tanks, this guy has 3000 gallons to swim around in and dose not need to fight for territory.
