haha, yeah that sounds about how this midas was when he was in the 75 gallon tank. Ever since he got moved into the 1200 and then into the new 2500 + tank there hasn't been an issue. He seems to actually like company now.
I remember when he was in the 75 and you would even touch the glass he would attack it. My toddler daughter use to put her face agents the glass and get a kick out of the midas trying to bite her nose off through the glass.

Awesome!

John, man its looking good. So glad I sold all my rays to someone who knows what the heck they are doing!! Have you had many pups from the big females yet?

Actually just had our first litter about 2 weeks ago. The second largest motoro had 5 pups. The smallest motoro might also be carrying, not sure.

The marble we got from you hasn't gotten pregnant yet, but she will soon. She was in a 3ft wide tank with a male marble, he kept trying but they just didn't have enough room in there, he would latch on and she would take off and slam him into a wall. That won't be a problem when they are reunited in the new pond.

Right now all the females are enjoying a break from those horny devils.

I'm glad to see we still have a huge ray keeper in Washington, this pond is awesome. I always wanted to do one like this but would have to get rid of the wife first.. Lol. So is this gonna be open for viewing if anyone of us Seattle guys make it over there ??
