1100 set up

So the train will go all around the house, or around 2 rooms? Has Genius learned feeding times?
lol “Genius” believes feeding time is all day!
My plan is to take the train into another room and maybe the outside covered patio area in the back yard. Baby steps though. I’m going to finish this room first then add extensions if/when I get the urge.

Some Dats and a full tank shot. I got these guys 12 years ago. They were a little bigger than a quarter. One died immediately. One got sucked into an over flow and one died with a bladder issue. It always floated and finally died. The 7 left are 18 to 21” and I bet the largest is 4 pounds!

This is Stanly, by Niger cat. Got him when he was just about 8”. This guy broke the net I used to move him from the 450 to this tank. I set him on the ground before he came all the way out of the net. By this time the tile floor was soaking wet and he was “swimming “ on the floor. The tail power is hard to describe. Mind you that tail is barbed with “saw bones” during the commotion, all this is on video, the tail hit my brothers ankle and opened it up to the bone and almost knocked him over. We were barefoot on wet tile. Blood everywhere! I threw a beach town on him and bear hugged the beast up the ladder and dropped the whole thing, beach towel and the fish, into the tank. While holding him I was almost shook off the ladder! Fish keeping fail. This is a s by far the largest fish I ever kept. We planned on weighing him kinda like I’m this biologist or Jermey Wade character and I’m going to speak with an accent and sound scientific, but it soon turned into “I just want to live” .

How big is Stanley now?

I once helped move a niger from a 400 gallon into a 5000 heated pond. no blood but I do remember it was a crazy experience tail wiping and water everywhere! he was about 30-36 inches
We called him the vaccume!
