I am going to go to the LFS tonight or tomorrow and get some metro to dose the tank.

I am going to treat these fish before I can put them down in good conscience.

if I can't cure them, then I can't cure them.

but I have to know that before putting them down..

if the meds don't work, then putting them down is the best option rather than letting the infection advance and have them waste away..
 
i don't think metro is going to cut it if its a bacterial infection as its an anti-parasitic med. It only has marginal anti-anflammatory and anti-biotic properties.
 
hexamita is a protozoan, so it would work for that. Are you goign to make a concentrated medicated food?

Here is a link that has a good recipe for making the gelatinized food.

If that doesn't work, I would still try and antibiotic.
