12 Volt Man's Aqueon 150 Gallon Startup Thread

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hit three different LFS's today, one that I hadn't been to in over a year.

nothing spectacular at any of them.

almost bought some syndontis multipunctatus, but they were quite pricey.

soon, I will have an empty 65g fresh to play around with.

so I have lots of room and options.

now, if only the LFS could get some good quality fish in LOL

picked up a few lemon fins today living in the quarentine tank just for the hell of it.

seem healthy, these ones have been at the LFS for a while now, but I wasn't really interested in keeping them again, until I was looking at the pic below of my old ones and it made me want them again..lol

they looked so awesome back then.

hopefully these new ones are not stunted from being at the LFS for a few months..they are eating a lot already and I have only had them for less than 2 hours LOL

where did you get your tank? I keep turtles and the extra width intrigues me.

I have 2 small Yellow fins growing in the tank at work with some tinfoils ready to bring back to mine when they're large enough. I've had tinfoils before but when I saw that old picture of yours above a while ago it made me determined to find some Yellow fins too (they aren't common over here.) Just hope mine look that good when they're big! Good to see you've got some again;)

Nice lemons. I had a feeling you'd come back to them. I remember you talked yourself out of them a few pages back but I had a feeling...I'd love to keep them, but they just grow TOO big for my aquarium. To be honest, i'm pushing my luck with tinfoils, my aquarium is only 5 feet long - what do you think? Damn I still could "technically" keep them in their for life with good filtration. The clowns will need an upgrade in time or I could sell for big money as they are getting big big big! What you think?:headbang2
