WOW! :WHOA: I am completely speachless! I am new to this site and just randomly (and THANKFULLY) came across this thread! At first i just browsed to see the pics but after literally 2 minutes i was dumbfounded! I have now, finally, read every word on this post and yes it did get off topic but to the original poster my hat is off to you man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOOO AWESOME!!!!!!! You are definetly living the dream my friend! I am totally in awe and envious at the same time you are held in the highest of esteem for being so dedicated! I resent being a member on this site because i am not a "Monster" fish keeper but i dream BIG! You have inspired me to go for this dream! And major, MAJOR kudos on paying for your dream (hobby) by means of another hobby! Lastly i ask your permission to PM u i'd love to pick your brain, and possibly rent your knowledge once i get my own monster project from dream state to reality! Awesome tank (tank hell that thing needs a name fitting of it that i cannot think of!) and hats off again bro, awesome work!
Thanks for your dedication to the thread. I know it's a lot to read. Feel free (as with everyone else) to pm me for questions. I'll try to respond when I get a chance. I think we should call it the "CATFISHATORIUM".

So this past weekend I bought the rest of the plywood for inside my tank. As for everyone's requests about making the tank just the 2x4s on the outside, I toyed around with the idea and sanded some on the front side of the tank to see what I would think and I think it would be a great idea. The only catch is that one of the sides is already plywooded, and was held down by subfloor adhessive. There's no way that piece will come off and leave the wood under looking nice. lol. So my plan is to plywood the sides and back so that it looks right and has added stability. The front will be left 2x4s. This is due to the fact that to make the frame that I have planned for the glass there will be double the plywood on the inside front anyway. So there's no need for the ply on the front. I'll do a sketchup sometime this weekend to show what I mean exactly. As for those people waiting on their skeletons. I'm sorry I haven't had much time to do anything which you'll know if you read this thread, but I promise this is your weekend and I'll be putting in an extra effort to get those farther along and hopefully finished by the end of the month. I appreciate your contribution to this project. As for future funding. I will continue to take requests for fish skeletons, and will also continue to clean aquariums locally to support this build. I bought 12 pieces of plywood for the inside of the aqaurium and still need 5 more to finish the outside. The one aqaurium that I am cleaning that needs some major reworking will be rebuilt over the next couple of months. This will be a major effort and will probably cut down on the time that I have to work on the project by a long shot, but I will start a new thread for that and continue this one. It is a 180 gal that is about 35 years old, and the silicone is almost gone from the corners. I'll be removing it from the wall it's in right now, and taking it to my place. I will strip it and make it into a 400 gal tank. It houses 2 2' irridescent sharks, an oscar, two silver dollars, and a clown loach. I'll be rehousing them at my place until this can be finished. This should generate everything I need to finish my aquarium as well.:naughty:

Hey, whats that fish in your avatar?

Like the little 'spotted' TSN thing looks cool. Doubt to find that in Australia.
