we got as low as -30 here and some spots got as low as -55. Necro's garage was around 24 F. when it was that cold. We are trying hard to keep his fish alive through the cold.

Poor guys. That sucks seriously. I guess we can't find an equal. Here is the right temps, but big cats are harder to find, and there they're so cheap but conditions are less than ideal.

THanks guys. Even if I could get the sealant right now I couldn't do it for another couple of months when it's warmer out. Right now I'm saving and trying to keep my fish alive. The big boy's pond heater went out last night and I have some space heaters keeping it around 70 f right now. The garage is down to around 20 f, and it's around -20 outside right now. I guess keeping the garage 40 degrees warmer is ok for two space heaters. I was really worried about the big boy as his water hit 40 f last night before I found it. All the fish seem to be fine, but a little dazed. I think the oscars in with him might die, but he's fine. That's the coldest water that he's been in yet, and I don't know how he survived, but it's back up to around 70, and I have two backup small heaters on the tank that kept it from dropping lower than 40 thankfully. Anyway the drama continues, and seems like I don't get to make any progress for backsliding on what tanks I have right now. The issues that I'm having with these insulated ponds would be nullified in the big tank. Evaporation, temp changes. I'm planning something for all of this. This winter sux by the way!
