thanks for the update Necro I Like that your gonna leave the front 2x4s its the look I like the most. you have some amazing cats I'm sure they will love their new home whenever its completed. Its unfortunate for us to here this project is slowing down but hey do it right and think through everything before you procede and you will be more than happy once ts all finished. I am looking forward to seeing the new project creating a bigger home for those fish as well. I want to do this and hopefully after the holidays I will be able to begin that one converting a 150G tank into a 700G tank I will be watching your progress while I go as well.

Thanks guys. The fish are all doing well, but please keep them in mind over the next couple of days as the temps are now -6 and dropping by the hour. This time tomorrow they will be -22, with a wind chill of -50 at times. This will be the biggest test of my ghetto ponds ever. I was hoping to have the tank built before this happened. I have put an extra heater in the garage today, and I'm hoping that it will keep the garage nice and toasty. Going to be ordering about 1000 pot scrubbers next week. Cost is $150 shipped. If anyone knows of a better price please send me a pm, but that's what I can find right now.

The other tank I will be working on is only viewed in the front right now, and thus I'm only making it viewable from the front when I rebuild it larger. This will make it relatively cheap and easy to convert. They just have to pay for the wood and all the materials without the cost of glass because I'm recycling theirs. It's .5" glass. Basically going to flip the ends out and make them part of the front and switch the back glass with less scratches to the front. The rest will be a box kinda like my tank.

I hope you don't have any losses due to the cold temps dude..
