Weather is almost there already. Was like 38 F today, and gets down to 20s tonight. I have to cover my ponds, and wrap the one with insulation today. It would suck if I had to wait til next spring to finish. I don't think my fish can all live in their current ponds until then. They'll be huge by the time spring rolls back around. It was still snowing in june this year. I'd be waiting 7-8 months before the weather lets up here.
blah blah... " I live in Montana and it gets soooo cold here" blah blah... Come here and freeze your sissy little marbles off :grinyes:
Get some space heaters in there... you could even section off the tank (work area) with some Plastic to help keep the heat in so your not heating the whole garage.... I don't have your problem since I have a insulated and heated garage :D

I'd be willing to bet Montana weather gets close to your's, but not quite. Seen temps as low as -45, and windchill at -58. I know it's colder up there, but trust me that's plenty cold lol. I've already tossed that idea around in my head about sectioning off the tank. I'll be doing that when I do the fg because I don't want to fume out my fish that bad lol. I'll have the windows open and probably like 2-3 space heaters. The 1500 watt one I have in there now heats the whole garage nicely right now, but sucks when the temps go below 0 F. My garage is insulated(supposedly), but definitely not heated. What do you think is the best way to heat a garage? I've been debating on weather or not to get some base board heaters for out there. Gas prices are way up this year, and would like not to go that route lol.

Your country is colder than mine! You win some Ice Cream.......If you come down and get it!

The garage is already insulated, but my little space heater is rated at 200 sq ft room, and my garage is 900 sq ft.
