On the note of scrubbies, most of the dollar stores around me are no longer carrying them. My father and stepmom ordered some online to end up with the new sponge type scrubbers. They had to send them back to get the right ones, and the lady said that they are moving away from those and will not be carrying them anymore. I fear they may becoming a thing of the past... So buy them up when you see them!
None of the dollar stores around here carry them either! That sucks..

The Liners aren't the problem... it's finding a way to properly seal in a window that makes Liners difficult... it's been done a couple of times now though, but on MUCH smaller scales and it's hard to know if it would work with the pressures we are looking at in a tank this size

I'm torn on the liner issue too. Man it would be so much easier to make a monster tank that way - you could pack it up and move it too - just unbolt the sides and go!

There are a lot of really good adhesives that will bond to various plastics, and failing that I've considered using a gasket on the acrylic window.
