broke down and got fronts huh? I am getting some Moori too. Mine will be smaller. I am unsure where to put them, but I have been waiting for them. Tank is coming along, but it will be full so at this rate!

yeahh after i get most of the fish i want in the tank i will worry about the rocks and stuff. i want to take some of my big ones out and throw a tons of small ones. did you use eggcrate? and yeah i was thinking of eventually adding a little piece of wood down the road and some fake plants. we got a ton of small brichardi for like 5 bucks right now :D and like one other tang that im not even sure what they are because we got them yesterday
nah, no eggcrate! my sand bed is thick in the middle to the back! i just set the rocks in and push them down till they were settled. im positive they will stay! ive been doing that for sometime now! how are them brichardi's lookin? are they as good as the wc's at pk? still debating on getting a few! cuz they are bad! :headbang2 find out what other tangs you got and if theyre not common ill pick them up! let me know!

Not to be a jerk but I see MAJOR FLAW in your plumbing design! I haven't read through the whole thread, so I don't know if this was addressed somewhere else but:

If your Fluval breaks or stops working you are going to have to drain almost the entire tank to take it out and fix or replace it. You should have put some shutoff valves in-line before the Fluval shutoff valves. You can get threaded PVC valves, put male barbed fittings in them and place them in the tygon before the Fluval. That way you can shut them down to keep water in the tank while removing the entire filter without having to leave the top of the Fluval in place.
