True that but it sure is fun.LowCel;3064593; said:I can't answer for NOLAGT but from my experience it costs whatever you want to spend. I know that I ended up spending much, much more than I had originally budgeted on mine.
SO far the suction cups on the heater are working. I was worried about the melting plastic thing too. I have another idea if the suction cups dont stay stuck. I have to build something out of egg crate to hold filter socks...I can make another hole in that to hold the heater.jakeT;3064720; said:tank looks awesome man. but i do have one question. im getting a 125 in the next few weeks and making a sump like the one that you made. do you have your heater just sitting in the sump or is it somehow protected from melting the plastic of the sump?
Isn't that the turthLowCel;3064593; said:I can't answer for NOLAGT but from my experience it costs whatever you want to spend. I know that I ended up spending much, much more than I had originally budgeted on mine.
I was runing a 2400gph and that kept the tank at 84, I added a 950gph and it went up to 86/87 in the summer. I also used a Hydor inline heater 300w more of a backup than anything else. The 2400 died and the inline picked up the slack to keep it at 80 in the winter months, the 950 keeps it at 82 when it's hot outside.NOLAGT;3064780; said:SO far the suction cups on the heater are working.
